Porsche 911 Carrera S 50th Anniversary Edition

The car will be launched in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show and as the original 911, the Porsche 911 50th Anniversary Edition is a coupe with a six-cylinder rear engine and rear wheel drive.
This special edition will be limited to 1963 cars, a number that represents the year of the world premiere of the 911. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.5 seconds (4.3 with PDK s) and can reach a maximum speed of 300 km / h (298 km / h with PDK).
The combined fuel consumption is 9.5 l/100 km (8.7 l/100 km with PDK), and emissions CO2 224 g / km (205 g / km with PDK). The Porsche 911 Carrera S 50th Anniversary Edition with 400 hp, includes features that contributed to the success of the 50-year history of the Porsche 911. According to the ranking BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands; Toyota, Mercedes, Audi and Hyundai improved their values in double-digit percentages, largely due to the huge demand in Chinese and North American markets.
The japanese brand in 2013 increased 12% to approximately 19 billion euros, largely because of the significant rise in the hybrid cars market. BMW dropped 2% to 18,650 million euros due to a lack of new products launches, compared to previous years.
Among the Germans, Mercedes increased 11% to 14,000 million euros and Audi rose 18% to a value of 4.27 billion euros.
In general terms, in the the first place of the Top 100 most valuable brands 2013 is, again, Apple valued at 144 billion euros, followed by Google (88.4 billion euros) and IBM 87 billion euros.

All that emotion!
I was there that fatefull day at Zolder 1982,
Happily taking pictures in the pits of Villeneuve and Pironi.
Gilles went out for one last lap and never came back....
just his wrecked Ferrari on the back of a truck...
the evening was so eerie and quiet.
Racing fans just wandering around in disbelief, like zombies...

This very limited edition, with production of less than a dozen cars, must weigh less than 1000 kg.
Remember that the production of LaFerrari, presented in March at the Geneva Motor Show, is limited to 499 units, all already sold, at a price of 1.7 million US Dollars , before taxes.

Lamborghini shows Aventador LP720-4

The official presentation will take place tomorrow in the Hall of Shanghai, China.
This special edition, with production limited to 100 units, is proposed only in yellow Giallo Maggio (Maggio is Italian May, the month in which Lamborghini was founded, while Giallo means yellow, which was highly requested by customers at the time of the iconic Miura) and has several specific aerodynamic elements.
The interior follows the same chromatic pattern (yellow and black).
The mechanics are the same as the Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 with a V12 6.5 ie engine but with more 20 hp now 720 hp. The performances were not announced.
